4. Provide detailed exegesis of each Surah
5. Enumerate the lessons in each Surah
6. Apply the lessons to life situations

1. Week 1Module 1:

   • Unit 1: Preliminary *Tajwid* and *Surah al-'A`la* · 2 hours

     Study the rules of *ta'awwudh*, *basmalah*, and pursing on ha.. Practice reciting *Surah al-'A`la* with correct *tajwid*.. Translate the *Surah* and identify its main themes..

2. Week 2Module 1:

   • Unit 2: *Surah al-Ghāshiyah* · 2 hours

     Study the *tajwid* rule of stopping on *tā’ marbūṭah*.. Recite *Surah al-Ghāshiyah* from memory.. Analyze the descriptions of Paradise and Hell in the *Surah*..

3. Week 3Module 1:

   • Unit 3: *Suratul-Fajr* · 2 hours

     Analyze the significance of the oaths in the *Surah*.. Study the stories of past nations mentioned in the *Surah* and their lessons.. Reflect on the nature of man's trial..

4. Week 4Module 1:

   • Unit 4: *Suratul-Balad* · 2 hours

     Identify the points of articulation of *ash-Shamsiyyah* and *al-Qamariyyah* letters.. Recite *Surah al-Balad* with correct pronunciation.. Discuss the importance of social responsibility..

5. Week 5Module 2:

   • Unit 1: *Surah ash-Shams* · 2 hours

     Study the throat letters and their *tajwid* rules.. Recite *Surah ash-Shams* from memory.. Analyze the contrasting pairs in the *Surah* (sun/moon, day/night, etc.)..

6. Week 6Module 2:

   • Unit 2: *Surah al-Layl* · 2 hours

     Learn the *tajwid* rules of *Madd*.. Recite *Surah al-Layl* with correct *Madd* pronunciation.. Compare and contrast the characteristics of the generous and the miserly..

7. Week 7Module 2:

   • Unit 3: *Surah a-Ḍuha* · 2 hours

     Study the explanatory notes for key words in the *Surah*.. Recite *Surah a-Ḍuha* from memory.. Reflect on the favors granted to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)..

8. Week 8Module 2:

   • Unit 4: *Surah ash-Sharh* · 2 hours

     Study the explanatory notes for key words in the *Surah*.. Recite *Surah ash-Sharh* from memory.. Analyze the favors granted to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)..

9. Week 9Module 2:

   • Unit 5: *Surah at-Tin* · 2 hours

     Study the explanatory notes for key words in the *Surah*.. Recite *Surah at-Tin* from memory.. Reflect on the creation of man in the best form..

10. Week 10Module 3:

    • Unit 1: *Surah al-'Alaq and al-Qadr* · 3 hours
