About nounstudy
nounstudy is the first and only AI-powered learning platform built for students of the National Open University of Nigeria.
Why nounstudy exists
Studying at NOUN mostly means reading on your own. The material is there, and NOUN already organises it into modules and units, but there is no one to ask at eleven at night when a paragraph will not come together.
nounstudy puts that same material on your phone and puts an AI beside it. You read a unit, and when something confuses you, you ask about it and get an answer built from the pages in front of you.
That is the whole idea. Not a general chatbot that happens to know a little about your subject, but one that reads your own course material and shows you the page each answer came from.
The first AI learning platform built for NOUN
There is no shortage of AI tools. nounstudy is the only one built around the course material NOUN publishes, for the way NOUN students actually study.
First
and only AI learning platform built for students of the National Open University of Nigeria.
2,577
NOUN courses you can look up, across 9 faculties.
Any time
you open a unit, day or night, the AI is there to ask.
nounstudy is independent of NOUN
We are built for students of the National Open University of Nigeria. We are not part of the university.
The course material you read on nounstudy belongs to NOUN, and the university already publishes it free. NOUN organises that material into modules and units, and nounstudy reads it in that same structure. We did not create the structure. We built the reader, the ask feature and a way to test yourself, on top of material that was already organised before we touched it.
You tell us your programme when you sign up, and it stays with us. Your results and everything else you do here stay with us too. Nothing is reported back to the university.
Built by former NOUN students, for NOUN students
We are a small team in Nigeria, and we sat the same exams you are sitting. We read this course material on the same cramped phone screen, and we built the tool we wished we had while we were doing it.
