The course material on nounstudy is NOUN’s, published free by the University. Here is how it is licensed, what belongs to us, and how to cite either one.
NOUN’s course material
The material you read here is the university’s own, published free through its official channels.
nounstudy uses the course material the National Open University of Nigeria publishes for its students, and it stays the university’s work.
The university sets the terms, and they differ from one course to another. Some courses are released under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International licence. Others carry a copyright notice, and some carry no notice at all. The terms that apply to a course are the ones printed in that course’s own file, which you can download at any time.

What we add sits on top of it: summaries, practice tests, diagrams, and answers that carry the page they came from. Those are ours. The material underneath them is NOUN’s.
We are not part of NOUN
nounstudy is an independent study tool. The university does not run it, endorse it, or answer for it.
We use NOUN’s publicly available course material as the text students read. Everything nounstudy builds on top of that text is our own work and our own property: summaries, practice tests, diagrams, and answers that cite the page they came from.

How to cite
In APA 7th edition. Cite the course material for anything you read in a unit; cite nounstudy only when the tool itself is the subject.
The course material
The words in a unit are NOUN’s. Cite NOUN. This is the one you want in almost every case.
